Why do we raise funds?

We are fiscally sponsored under the 501c3 non-profit status of the Clayton Valley Presbyterian Church – an open-hearted, open-minded congregation that strives to affirm and uplift the marginalized and welcome all. Clayton Valley Presbyterian has proudly flown the rainbow flag in support of the LGBTQIA+ community for several years. It supports Clayton Pride’s work to build and celebrate a sense of community, acceptance and inclusion among members and allies of the LGBTQQIA+ community. 

Revenue from sponsorship will be used for the cost related to the parade, including Clayton City fees, insurance, parade security, marketing, and communication. Sponsors  will be acknowledged during the parade, on Clayton Pride’s webpage and social media accounts.
